For the upcoming Fourth of July Celebrations this coming week, the La Mesa Police Department’s Traffic Unit is preparing to participate in extra DUI enforcement. La Mesa Police Department’s Traffic Unit will beef up their DUI enforcement efforts on over the 4th’s weekend celebrations and will have several extra officers out on patrol to aggressively look for potentially impaired and distracted drivers.
