The Challenge Center (5540 Lake Park Way), a La Mesa nonprofit dedicated to physical therapy rehabilitation and other programs for the physically challenged, now has a new Director of Development, according to a report by UT San Diego.
Barbara Mower will use skills learned as a volunteer and fundraiser for the San Diego Food Bank and Monarch School to head the fundraising, donor and volunteer relations and business development for the Challenge Center.
