Police Helicopter Searches for Robber Near Grossmont Center
The area has been cleared by police, but the suspect is still at large.
A police helicopter searched the area around the Grossmont trolley stop and Grossmont Center in La Mesa for robbery suspect Thursday evening, according to a Nixle alert sent by the police department at 8 p.m.
Police cleared the area, but are still looking for the suspect, described as a "Hispanic male, in his early 20's, light skinned, tattoo on the back of his neck, black hat, black shirt, dark jeans, carrying black backpack."
