Man and Juvenile Booked on Suspicion of Possessing Stolen Car

A deputy said he spotted two heavily tattooed men pumping gas into a BMW that was reported stolen.

One man and a juvenile were arrested Sunday at a Spring Valley gas station for possession of a stolen vehicle, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

A deputy said he spotted two heavily tattooed men pumping gas into a BMW at Circle Market Deli at 3504 Bancroft Dr. around 1 p.m. After running a check on the vehicle's license plate, the deputy discovered the vehicle was reported stolen. The two suspects were detained by the deputy and other responding officers.

The adult suspect, identified as Joshua Roberts, 37, was booked into San Diego Central Jail on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle. The 17-year-old juvenile suspect was booked into Juvenile Hall on an outstanding warrant.
