The public is invited to City Hall Council Chambers as the La Mesa Planning Commission considers the La Mesa General Plan and Final Environmental Impact Report.
"General Plan Amendment GPA-12-02 is a comprehensive update to the City of La Mesa General Plan. With a 20-year planning horizon, the General Plan update plans for approximately 10,400 new people, 3,145 new housing units and 5,211 new jobs, based upon the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG’s) regional growth forecast for La Mesa. The General Plan update also addresses emerging issues including sustainability, water conservation, parks and recreation, and health and wellness."
