Agency: Spring Valley Business Must Address Odor Complaints

Affordable Grease Pumping has been the target of numerous complaints from local residents.

After years of residents' complaints, a government agency has revoked the right for a Spring Valley business to process oil, according to 10news.com.

The business, Affordable Grease Pumping, has irked neighbors who reside in nearby homes and an apartment building, according to the report, because of smells of rotten food and old grease emanating from the site.

The residents had their say recently when the San Diego County Air Pollution Control District held a hearing in which officials sought to bar the Presioca Street business from handling grease because of “nuisance odors to a considerable number of” people.
