I have been working in local real estate since 2002. My sales production ranks me in the top 3% of Realtors in the United States. My office is located in the heart of La Mesa Village just a few short blocks from my 1926 Spanish Revival I am restoring.

I have always been politically inclined but over the last few years, I've been watching government at all levels growing beyond their core purposes: public safety, sanitation, dispute resolutions, infrastructure, zoning to the point where their size, rules and regulations are stifling our spirit and economy.

I have blogged on these topics for years in the Patch and am running for La Mesa City Council because I believe cities, counties, states and our country could greatly benefit from business-minded people being elected to serve their communities.

I am a journalism graduate from Long Beach State University and have one son who graduated from UCSB in 2011 and two daughters, one at SDSU and the other at Grossmont College.
