Karen was born and raised in San Diego, where she has lived her entire life. She grew up in Santee and has resided in many other parts of the county. She has been in retail and restaurant management for over ten years and is passionate about music, writing, humor, and spending time with family. She is a little less passionate about writing mini-bios and talking about herself in the third person, to be perfectly honest. Karen has a Bachelors degree in Communications with a Marketing emphasis. She lives with her partner and step-daughter, cat, dog, fish, and a head full of useless 1980s pop culture trivia.
