About David

In July I left my job to stand up for the 99% in our district who, in these most difficult times since the Great Depression, have been ignored by our current representative, Duncan Hunter.

Mr. Hunter has been on the job for three years, and any reasonable evaluation of his performance would indicate he has failed us, and must be replaced.  District 50 and the nation must move in a new direction to rebuild America.  Working men and women, the elderly, and especially our children will have their own lobbyist in Washington.   The very foundation of a prosperous and secure America is a thriving middle class.

Though I'm unknown, not supported by my  party, have no money or influence, I will run regardless of the odds, because, as Dr. King said, "There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular.  But he must take it because conscience tells him that it is right."

Vince - I certainly will. I'll say at the outset that I'm generally sympathetic with his philosophy. At the same time, the implications of taking his positions to their logical conclusions give me pause. I will pose questions that, in my opinion, highlight this.
Since it is complicated, I'll need some time to more thoroughly review the issues so that questions might challenge what would seem to be reasonable conclusions.
It may be a week or so, because I am up to my eyeballs in campaign activities myself.

Best regards,

P.S. Might have to post questions individually as each can raise a whole range of responses. Dr. Paul is not just talking about making a few modifications!
Logic is not the strong suit of some commenters here, so it's difficult to stay on topic, but, as the nomads say, "Dogs bark, but the caravan travels on."
I would enjoy a dialogue on at least a few of his more provocative views.

David, could you please post a series of questions you'd like to ask Dr. Paul?

Thanks.
