An avid home chef, as well as a food and wine connoisseur, Chelsea enjoys trying new recipes and restaurants.

Named after the street in La Jolla, Chelsea grew up in  San Diego and graduated from San Diego State University. With a degree in art history and a minor in Spanish, she has since worked in magazine publication, as well as the museum and gallery fields, interior design, non-profits, and the financial worlds. 

Chelsea's award-winning and unique writing, editing, and curatorial projects include Rituality (A discourse on contemporary and non-Western arts), Oceanic Art: A Celebration of Form, Dance as Art for Life's Sake: The Ghanaian Kpanlogo, Considering Black Womanhood, and Personal Pathways: The Art of Southeast Africa.
