Spring Valley Citizens Association Here to Improve Community

Introduction to the Spring Valley Citizens Association.

Hi all,

This is my first blog on this website so I just wanted to introduce myself and the . The purpose of the Spring Valley Citizens Association is to improve the quality of life and community image of Spring Valley, California. Our mission is to establish a sense of neighborhood, build community relationships, and disseminate information. The SVCA was formed back in 1993 when Spring Valley was pushing to become incorporated. We were formed to be a voice for our citizens since there is no formal government. We currently have our hands in many things including: regular trash clean ups, graffiti paint outs, acting as a liaison between citizens and political bodies, helping with being a voice to local businesses and most recently spear heading the revitalization of Lamar Park. For more information please contact the president Steven Relyea 619-335-5423 or visit the SVCA home page at www.springvalleyca.info

I myself live in Spring Valley and have been dedicated to improving my local area my entire life. Originally from upstate NY the navy brought me out here in 2006 where I finished my obligation and got out in January 2009. We are looking to spread the word to as many people as possible so please take the first step and contact me to see how you can help make Spring Valley a better place.
