San Diego Chargers Name Tom Telesco General Manager

Telesco, 40, served as the vice president for football operations for the Indianapolis Colts in 2012.

The San Diego Chargers, just 10 days after firing longtime GM A.J. Smith, have found his replacement.

The team announced Wednesday that it has hired Tom Telesco to fill the position. Telesco, 40, was the vice president for football operations for the Indianapolis Colts in 2012. Prior to that, he served as the team's director of player personnel for six seasons. He spend 15 years with the organization, and helped transform a roster that finished 2-14 a year ago, and made them a playoff team.

The Colts lost to the Baltimore Ravens Sunday in the AFC Wild Card game.

In hiring Telesco, the Chargers chose not to hire an internal candidate, Jimmy Raye. Raye, the teams director of player personnel, has been with the organization for 17 years. He started as a scout in 1996 and rose up the ranks of the organization. He was thought by many as one of the frontrunners to take over for Smith.

Telesco had a similar career path as Raye with Indianapolis. A graduate of John Carrol University, Telesco began his career with the Colts in 1998 as a scout, before being promoted to director of player personnel.

His first duty will be to hire a new head coach. Norv Turner and Smith were let go on Dec. 31, following a 7-9 season for the Chargers that was marked by a significant drop in attendance.

Great! The colts are solid and their Defense has always been an aggressive front....When the other team respects a D and it has the fear factor, aka Steelers.......then we can begin respect...Get rid of 3/4 of the truly "Offensive" O line starting with the slow non intimidating Jeremy Clary....He has been the core softness to the no run Chargers for 4 years......formerCharger tryout player-Ricky Hoelck

It was the first of its kind to supply full daily news broadcasts. The company's 24-hour coverageRead More became an immediate success and helped to launch their company from a mainly US-based platform to a world-wide sensation. It was also the first company in the US to firmly provide news coverage.Being one of the most popular sources for news in all of US history. has now gone online, and is one of the top news sites on the internet, available to subscribers world wide instantly through a web browser. While most of these organizations still report quality news, the internet has spawned a number of sites that comment more than report current news. Other sites have emerged to consolidate the top news. People should do some research before relying too much on a single service.

I heard that the landlord is using that property as a loss and does not care about renters. LooksRead More to me like it could be true. I also heard that a group from Mt Helix is trying to clean up Casa De Oro. Does anyone know for sure?
