Lovin’ the Run: Montano and Silva Top La Mesans at Coronado Valentine’s 10K
Local couples racing on the island included Charlene/Tracy Giordano and Florian/Farah Hedwig.
Marc Montano and Erica Silva were the first of two dozen La Mesa finishers Sunday morning in the Coronado Valentine’s 10-kilometer run.
Some 33 La Mesans entered the race (see attached), which began and finished at Tidelands Park with the San Diego-Coronado Bridge looming in the background on a cool overcast day with occasional drizzles.
But the morning was brightened by the many couples entered in the 6.2-mile run, including La Mesans Charlene and Tracy Giordano and Florian and Farah Hedwig.
