The Spring Valley Gymnasium is hosting a Youth Basketball Clinic on Tuesday, Nov. 15, in preparation for the upcoming youth basketball league, which begins in January.
The clinic is designed for kids ages 8 to 14, and is limited to the first 50 participants that sign up. The deadline to register is November 8.
Camp participants will learn the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and interactive environment with an emphasis on team play. Local high school basketball coaches will help conduct the drills. There will be several prizes awarded to the participants as well.

The drills which will be covered include: ball handling, shooting, passing, agility, defense, and more.
The clinic is presented by S.M.I.L.E. (Sports Making an Impact on Lives Everyday), The San Diego County Park and Recreation Department, Albertson's, and Sports Authority.
