Participants will be led on a tour of the night sky by resident stargazer George Varga. The Moon will be one day short of being a First Quarter and in good position for viewing its features. Saturn may become visible towards the end of the evening. Ursa Major is high so it will be possible to view the Whirlpool Galaxy (M51), and Galaxies M81 and M82, light pollution and weather permitting.
A telescope will be provided. Lanterns or white-light flashlights are not permitted near the telescope.
