'It’s How We Live!' Festival
Get fit and healthy in a fun way with your community.
The annual "It's How We Live!" festival is back at the Spring Valley County Park. Families can visit for some rock-climbing, healthy food samples, martial arts demonstrations, exercise tips, dance classes, great music and informational booths. There will even be free dental screenings and health screenings, like body-fat analysis.
Parking and admission are free at the festival. In addition to the other activities, there will be crafts, games, health-related prizes and giveaways.

The event is held each year to inspire and help parents and kids learn how to live healthier lives, and to recognize that being healthy can be fun. The festival’s unofficial motto is “Go Play. Get Fit. Be Healthy.”
The event is being sponsored by the San Diego County Department of Parks and Recreation, the County Health and Human Services Agency, the San Diego County Library, the Spring Valley Youth and Family Coalition, the Otay Water District and the Healthy Adventures Foundation.
