Hike with a Ranger, to McGinty Mtn. Peak!

For a good workout and beautiful views, hike to the peak of McGinty Mountain at 2,160 feet on the San Diego National Wildlife Refuge with a USFWS Interpretive Ranger.

This hike is a 1,280 elevation climb (4.8 miles round trip), so only intermediate and experienced hikers are encouraged. Bring water, very sturdy hiking shoes, and walking sticks if you have them. This hike has very steep inclines and it will be very warm with NO SHADE.
