Schools and a number of government offices will be closed for the holiday on Monday.

Presidents Day—the federal holiday officially known as Washington's Birthday—is coming up Monday, causing a number of changes in government services.

Three-Day Weekend Weather

  • Saturday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 57º. Night: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm, low around 47º.
  • Sunday: 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy. High near 53º. Night: Partly cloudy, low around 44º.
  • Presidents Day (Monday): Mostly sunny, high near 58º. Night: Partly cloudy, low around 44º.

  • public schools will be closed on Monday. Grossmont Unified High School District schools, including Monte Vista and Mount Miguel High Schools, are closed as well.
  • The and library branches are closed Monday, but will reopen on Tuesday.
  • Emergency service is not affected by the holiday. Call 911 if you have an emergency.
