Quiz the Cops: Maryland Avenue School Hosts Forum on Local Crime Wednesday

Police Chief Al Lanning and others will answer questions from neighbors and present latest stats as forum series continues.

Two months after a Town Hall meeting brought out dozens, Maryland Avenue Elementary School next week again will sound out residents—this time on crime.

The La Mesa Police Department will host a neighborhood forum at 6 p.m. Wednesday (March 23) at the school, 5400 Maryland Ave.

The two-hour event is the latest of a series of community forums to encourage public discussion and questions about issues specific to the individual neighborhoods within the city, officials said.
