Question of the Day: Will the Hillers or Scotties Prevail in Tonight’s Clash?

The 7 p.m. game at Grossmont High School marks the 60th anniversary of the first meeting with Helix High School for local football supremacy.

As noted by La Mesa historian James D. Newland, tonight’s football contest between crosstown rivals Grossmont High and Helix Charter School is the 60th anniversary of the first Musket Game. The Scotties and Hillers have both lost only one game this season, but Helix is ranked No. 1 in the county.  Will form be followed? Or will the Foothillers pull off the upset of the season?
