Deserving cadets get commended for their 2010-2011 accomplishments.

On Wednesday, June 1, Mount Miguel High School's U.S. Army JROTC Program held its Annual Awards Ceremony in the school gymnasium at 1830 hours.

The ceremony opened with the presentation of the colors and the National Anthem, sung by C/CPL Mariz Timog. The emcee for the evening was C/MAJ Geraldine Cabreros. Other speakers included Senior Army Instructor Major John E. Bachmann and principal Steve Coover.

Performances were conducted by the Army JROTC'S Unarmed Drill Team and Armed Drill Team. Both teams represented the program with poise and skill.
