Photo Gallery: Loma Elementary Movie Night

Rio hit the screen last Friday with raving reviews from Loma students and parents.

On Friday, Aug. 26, held its first movie night with "Rio" as the movie of choice.

Students were welcome to come in their pajama attire and bring blankets. Pillow pets scattered the floor of the auditorium, as well.

Bags of popcorn and lemonade were free and available throughout the night. Some families even brought in boxes of pizza.

A short intermission was held in order for kids to use the restroom without having to miss any of the film. Also, it gave everyone a chance to clean up any popcorn spills. Everyone did a great job of working together to keep the school clean.

The movie night was a fun way to allow the students to be sociable outside of their regular school routine. Rio got plenty of laughs and was a great family-friendly selection. The Loma Elementary PTA did a fabulous job of putting together this great event to kick off the school year with some fun for the whole family to enjoy.
