La Mesa and Spring Valley Residents Encouraged to Apply For Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee

There are two open positions: Business Community vacancy and Senior Citizen Organization vacancy.

The La Mesa-Spring Valley School District is accepting applications to fill vacancies on the Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee.  Committee members serve in an advisory capacity to the Board of Education to review General Obligation Bond sales and expenditures as they relate to the modernization and new school construction program.

There are two (2) vacancies: Business Community vacancy (must be active in a business organization representing the business community located within the La Mesa-Spring Valley School District) and Senior Citizen Organization vacancy (must be active in a senior citizens’ organization).

The application deadline is Friday, May 10, 2013. Applications may be obtained at the La Mesa-Spring Valley School District Office, 4750 Date Avenue, or by accessing the District’s website www.lmsvsd.org.
