Foothillers Win Pin Contest vs. Scotties

Jorge Ramos, Ryan Hoppe and Justin Atkins among the victors for Grossmont High School.

Grossmont High School outpointed Helix Charter High School in wrestling Thursday night, 42-27. Hillers Jorge Ramos, Ryan Hoppe and Justin Atkins won in their face-offs against Highlanders Alex Ngo, Dillon Cao and George Zazueta, respectively.

Scotties Eddie Marin and Aliyev Mukhamed beat their opponents, Hillers James Ruf and Joseph Colona. Scottie Elijah Nailon won seconds into the match when Foothiller David Rivera was injured. Other matches were forfeited.

Grossmont, coached by Todd Bell, hosts West Hills on Feb. 2. Helix, coached by Sam Parker, next travels to Valhalla to compete on Feb. 2 also. Both matches are at 6:30 p.m.

I've talked to God, and (S)he definitely supports a woman's right to choose whether she remains…Read More pregnant or not but disapproves of the shoddy way Dr. Gosnell ran his clinic. Surely you see the distinction as well. Medical malpractice is malpractice from any religious or ethical position. By the way, God also said (S)he supports gay marriage.
