Two Grossmont High School student athletes were honored recently with certificates at the Grossmont Athletic Conference Sportsmanship Awards May 22, 2012.

Danielle Dahle, a star basketball and volleyball player, and Neal Cowen, a star soccer and tennis player, received the honors for the Foothillers.

A male and female recipient from each East County high school was selected.
