San Ysidro High School beat Grossmont 68-62 on Wednesday night in the first round of the CIF San Diego section boys basketball tournament. Robby Nesovic led the host Hillers with 19 points, followed by Derek Rustich with 13.  San Ysidro's Javion Watson had a game-high 24 points and led the Cougars into the quarterfinals Saturday, where they will play. The Hillers saw their season record fall to 18-10, while the Cougars improved to 21-8. San Ysidro will travel to Vista to play No. 3 seed Rancho Buena Vista, which beat Fallbrook 78-50.
