Exclusive: Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge Experience—Part 1

This video provides a look into the journey of Army JROTC cadets while participating in the Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge, which features cadets from Mount Miguel and other San Diego County high schools.

On June 15, participating Army JROTCs from various San Diego County high schools traveled to the Forest Lawn Scout Reservation to participate in the Junior Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC). During this trip, the cadets were faced with both mental and physical tests. They rose to the challenge of overcoming fears, while working and developing skills outside of their normal comfort zone by interacting with students from different areas in their new environment.

This video primarily follows the journey of Mike Company. Participating schools in the JCLC experience include Mount Miguel High School, Morse High School, Madison High School, Kearny High School, Crawford High School, Lincoln High School, Hoover High School and San Diego High School.

Special thanks to everyone at the Forest Lawn Scout Reservation and everyone who participated in this trip to make it possible.
