Empowering Parents: A Guide to Taking Control of Your Child's Educational Journey

It's the 2nd Annual iParent event, sponsored by the Grossmont Union High School District.

The event will include keynote speakers, like Marsha Dodson and Dr. Darlene Willis, as they give their presentation Empowering Parents: A Guide to Taking Control of Your Child's Educational Journey.

Vallhalla High School will host the event where parents will have the chance to interact with an array of school professionals on topics ranging from college admissions to emotional resiliency for teens. iParent will also feature a resource fair that will provide parents with additional support.

Workshops will be available in English, Spanish and Arabic, and translation services for Spanish and Arabic are also available for the keynote presentation and additional workshops.
