Electronic Medical Records and Personal Health Records Discussion

The Grossmont Healthcare District’s Dr. William C. Herrick Community Health Care Library, is hosting a free seniors discussion group on “Electronic Medical Records and Personal Health Records.”

Julie McCoy, program manager of clinical informatics at Sharp Grossmont Hospital, and Kathy Quinn, library director, will give a presentation on privacy and confidentiality and the advantages of electronic medical record instead of paper files. Attendees will receive information on how to create and maintain their own personal health record.

Handouts will be provided and light refreshments will be served. No RSVP is required.
