The La Mesa Chamber of Commerce will host its sixth annual Salute to Local Heroes celebration from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at the Town and Country Resort Hotel, 500 Hotel Circle North, in San Diego’s Mission Valley area. The event will include installation of board members, food, silent auction and recognition of eight local locals from law enforcement, the fire district, paramedic field and retired senior volunteer patrol. Cost to attend is $50 per person or two tickets for $80 and a table of eight for $300. Complimentary parking is included. Sponsorships are available for this evening of celebration.
