Seniors group at La Mesa health care library to discuss homeopathy as alternative medicine on Wednesday, Oct. 24

The Grossmont Healthcare District’s Dr. William C. Herrick Community Health Care Library, 9001 Wakarusa St. in La Mesa, will host a free seniors discussion group on “Homeopathy as Alternative Medicine” from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 24. The public is invited to attend, and RSVP is not required. The speaker will be Jacquelyn Wilson, M.D., a retired physician and specialist in homeotherapeutics. She will explain what homeopathy is, how to use it, and how its philosophy of “like cures like” differs from conventional medicine. Handouts will be provided and light refreshments will be served.
