El Azteca is the Mecca of La Mesa-Area Burrito Joints

The people of La Mesa and Mount Helix certainly do love their burritos. And fortunately for them, they are afforded a variety of great places to pick one up!

In a poll that saw more than a dozen different Mexican food eateries get votes, the Best Burrito in the La Mesa-Mount Helix area goes to .

The Parkway Drive taco shop picked up 15 percent of the vote, as well as several positive statements in the comments section. It narrowly edged out (12 percent), Campo Road favorite (10 percent) and national chain (10 percent.)

Congrats to El Azteca – truly the Mecca of local taco shops.
