VIDEO: La Mesa Council Candidates Share Lunch, Campaign Experiences

Four of the five candidates for La Mesa City Council gathered with current councilmember Ernie Ewin, other supporters and members of the media at a luncheon thrown by Ewin at Sanfilippo's Pizza Tuesday afternoon.

Just hours before two of the candidates will be selected, they were able to look back on months of campaigning and friendly debate leading up to when the votes will be tallied and results announced.

Ewin was joined by candidates Kristine Alessio, Patrick Dean, Laura Lothian, and Shannon O'Dunn. Only incumbent Ruth Sterling did not attend.

Helix Water District board candidate Lori Kern, and La Mesa-Spring Valley School board candidate Bill Baber were also in attendance.
