Search of the Century: Is 1912 Important to You or Your Business?

The hunt is on for La Mesans (and businesses) who have celebrated their own centennial or are nearing it.

To celebrate its cityhood centennial next year, La Mesa is putting a call out for any residents who also are approaching the 100-year mark. And if you own a business that’s been around that long, it’s eligible for recognition too.

“This is turning out to be a lot of fun,” said Robert Vendeland, a commissioner on aging for the city. He, along with several others, is tasked with finding people.
