Question of the Day: Will You Attend Town Hall Meeting on Feb. 7?

Centennial is backdrop to forum at La Mesa Community Center, with City Council inviting ideas.

La Mesa turns 100 as a city on Feb. 16, and City Hall (along with the La Mesa Centennial Committee) are promoting a Centennial Town Hall meeting a week from today. The City Council will be present at the 6:30 p.m. “open-forum” session at the La Mesa Community Center on Feb. 7. “The Town Hall Meeting is intended as a means for citizens to learn about city services, state what they like about La Mesa, how they envision the future of their city, and to express concerns. Each attendee will be able to publicly address council members or simply to listen.” (See attached news release for more information.)
