Question of the Day: Has City Done Enough to Preview New Cell Towers
On Tuesday, staff recommended posting a map of incoming structures. Is more outreach needed?
The City Council on Tuesday accepted staff advice on wireless communications facilities, or cell-phone towers. (Attached) City staff suggested: “Add maps of existing and proposed wireless communication facilities to the city's website. .... On a one-time basis, prepare and send notification to all schools and day-care centers in La Mesa on how to access the city’s current information on existing and proposed wireless communication facilities.” Is this enough?
