Other Facts:
I'm a lifelong East County resident and have owned my own business in La Mesa for over 40 years. I bring that experience to our board. Serve on the SDCWA Board and understand local and regional water issues.
I am dedicated to continue strong support in keeping our water rates low, our highest security for Helix facilities, excellent customer service, safe and dependable water supply including desalination and water conservation.
Our country is a semi-arid desert. Almost all of our water must be imported from either the Colorado River or Northern California. We must make certain we receive our fair share. I take my responsibilities seriously and will continue to fight for our rate payers.
We are so fortunate to have a well- run district that supplies quality water at a reasonable price. The Helix Water District doesn't have the problems that plague some of the other water districts in San Diego County. If you've had occasion to interface with a water district employee, I'll bet it was a positive experience. Good customer service doesn't just happen. It starts at the top.
