Brian Jones Second Amendment Awareness Event

            Assemblymember Brian Jones, representing the 77th California Assembly District, will be holding a Second Amendment Awareness Event this Friday, September 23rd between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM at the Lemon Grove Rod & Gun Club in Alpine.

            Troubled by the multiple bills introduced in the Assembly aimed at curtailing Second Amendment rights, Assemblymember Jones is taking the opportunity to hold this event during Constitution Week in order to educate his constituents about the importance of the Second Amendment and firearm safety within the East County community.

            Assemblymember Jones will be giving a brief legislative update, followed by a Q & A session. Those in attendance will then have an opportunity to utilize the Lemon Grove Rod & Gun Club’s facilities; firearms will be provided for those unable to bring their own. In addition, novice shooters will be able to receive certified instruction regarding how to safely discharge a firearm.

            There will be ample space for parking, and the Kiwanis Club will be on hand to provide lunch for a low price. Attendees are permitted to drop by any time during the event.
