Assemblyman Brian Jones - Open House & Ice Cream Social

Assemblyman Brian Jones (R-Santee) announces his inaugural Open House and First Annual Ice Cream Social to be held Thursday, August 18, 2011, from 4-7 PM at his district office in Santee on Mission Gorge Road. The event is open to the general public.

Jones, elected to represent the 77th Assembly District in November 2010 expects strong attendance from members of the local community, and will be on hand to personally discuss legislative issues, answer questions, and provide an update on his experiences as a member of the California State Assembly.

He expects the event to also provide an opportunity for constituents to meet with one another and his local staff to discuss issues in and around the district. In addition, free ice cream will be provided to all attendees.

"I always embrace every opportunity to meet with constituents, and this is no exception," Jones said. "Those who are able to attend will have a great chance to mingle with their neighbors and discuss upcoming developments in California politics. In addition, they will discover what a helpful resource my Santee office is for anybody living within the 77th Assembly District."

The district office, located at 10152 Mission Gorge Road in Santee, opened its doors in late February of this year and provides constituents with community outreach, casework assistance, and legislative inquiries. The office is open to the public Monday-Friday between 9 am and 5 pm and can be reached at (619) 441-2322.
