Other Facts

Since 2003, I have worked with our parents, teachers, and staff to make the La Mesa-Spring Valley School District a high-performing K–8 district committed to student achievement.  Our goal is to help every student become a lifelong learner who contributes positively to our nation. A quality education is essential to success in our global economy.

We will continue to make every school a safe learning environment for every student.  As a school board member, I work for you, the citizens of La Mesa, Spring Valley, Casa de Oro. Mt. Helix, and El Cajon. My job is to steward your tax dollars wisely and use every resource to advance the best interests of our students.

We have world class teachers in our district They work hard every day to help our students succeed We will continue to recruit, train, and retain the best and brightest teachers in California.  We appreciate our parents and community volunteers who help our schools. We value our diversity.

These are challenging economic times. We need to continue to work as a team to help our students succeed.  My four children received a quality education in this district. I would be honored to continue serving as your school board representative and I ask for your vote on November 6th.
