Wanted: Man Who Punched 76-Year-Old Man After Road Rage Incident in East County [Video]

The assault in El Cajon on the morning of April 30 left the victim with major injuries requiring two reconstructive surgeries, according to El Cajon police and Crime Stoppers.

Authorities today renewed their call for information that could lead them to the man who punched a 76-year-old man in the face following a road rage incident in El Cajon nearly two months ago.

The assault in a CVS parking lot at 572 Fletcher Parkway on the morning of April 30 left the victim with major injuries requiring two reconstructive surgeries, according to El Cajon police and Crime Stoppers. The incident was caught on surveillance video.

The victim has since increased the amount being offered for information leading to an arrest from up to $1,000 to $2,500, in hopes that someone will come forward to identify the suspect, authorities said.

Police said the suspect left the scene in a newer red SUV-type vehicle. He was described as white, at least 6 feet tall with a muscular build, and was wearing a white t-shirt, dark shorts and a baseball cap with "UFC" on the front.
