Video of La Mesa man Keith Barton promising a cure to HIV and cancer patients was played in his trial Thursday, according to 10News.
The video was taken one year ago Thursday in a San Ysidro hotel room by state medical board investigators and helped lead to his arrest.
Barton, whose trial that started earlier this week, is accused of grand theft and posing as a doctor.
