Ten iPads Found in Couple’s Car at the Baltimore Drive 7-Eleven

Cathy Lynn Keller and Jeffrey Dale Owens of San Diego were booked on $20,000 bail each.

Talk about a Big Gulp.  La Mesa police say they’ve recovered 10 stolen iPads in one fell swoop—outside a 7-Eleven in west La Mesa.

The pricey Apple tablet computers were found in a car early Thursday, police said.

“Officers came upon a car with two subjects parked at the 7-Eleven store at 5255 Baltimore Dr. early this morning at 3:59 a.m.,” said police Lt. Dan Willis.
