Updated: Roadways Open After Suspicious Object Found in La Mesa
The onramps to Interstate 8 in La Mesa are closed due to the investigation.

The onramps from Lake Murray Boulevard and Parkway Drive to westbound Interstate 8 in La Mesa have reopened, according to Caltrans. The connectors were closed shortly before noon due to the discovery of a suspicious- looking device in the area. It's not clear if the object turned out to be anything hazardous.
