Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a knife assault in Spring Valley Saturday as a possibly gang-related attack. One person was taken to a hospital with a knife wound on a forearm, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
Four men in the 9100 block of Kenwood Drive got into a verbal argument with another man whose car was kicked by one of the suspects, according to Sgt. V.J. Rivera. The confrontation turned physical and one of the suspects pulled a knife and cut the car owner on the forearm. Family members drove the wounded man to a hospital.
Deputies responded to the area around 8:52 p.m. but the four suspects were gone, according to Rivera. They were described as male Hispanics wearing mostly dark clothing.
