Suspect Sought in Armed Robbery of 7-Eleven Near Mt. Helix

The suspect in the robbery was a male, wearing a black jacket and jeans. The race of the suspect is unknown because he was wearing a mask.

The San Diego County Sheriff' Department made the following announcement on Saturday, Feb. 16:

On Feb. 16, at 1:33 AM, Deputies from the Lemon Grove Sheriff's Station responded to an armed robbery at the 7-11 store located at 1498 Jamacha Road in unincorporated El Cajon.

The suspect in the robbery was a male, wearing a black jacket and jeans. The race of the suspect is unknown because he was wearing a mask.

During the robbery the suspect pointed a black gun at the clerk and demanded money. The suspect grabbed the money from the drawer and ran out of the store in an unknown direction. The exact loss is not known at this time.

Deputies on the ground utilized the assistance of Sheriff's ASTREA to search for the suspect; however they were not able to locate him.
