Spring Valley Man Shot in Home

A Spring Valley man was shot in his Sacramento Avenue home early Sunday morning, according to authorities.

According to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, an unknown female knocked on the victim's door. He was then shot by two males wearing masks when he opened the door around 3 a.m.

The man was shot three to four times in the right arm and shoulder area. He sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated by medics at the scene, according to authorities.

A description of the suspects has not yet been released. It is also unknown if the suspects fled the area on foot or in a vehicle.
