Spring Valley Man Charged with Attempted Murder for Allegedly Driving Car Into a Relative

A man was is in jail Thursday on suspicion of attempted murder after allegedly ramming his car into a relative following a fight, authorities said.
Sheriff's deputies responded to a call reporting a vehicle hit a pedestrian in the 9000 block of Lemon Street in Spring Valley about noon Wednesday. At the scene, they determined the act had been intentional, said sheriff's Sgt. Michelle McPhail.
Two relatives had been arguing inside their residence and took the fight outside, where one got into his vehicle and drove into the other, pushing him into a parked car, then backed up and drove into the victim a second time before fleeing, she said.

Both men were transported to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries, with the suspect complaining of back pains, authorities said.
