Two separate crashes involving motorcycles resulted in major injuries on San Diego freeways Saturday, according to the CHP.
The first crash was about 11:45 a.m. on northbound State Route 67 near Mapleview Street and involved four vehicles, including a motorcycle. Major injuries were reported but it was unknown how many people were injured in the crash.
The second crash was a solo motorcycle crash that happened about noon on westbound State Route 94 near Freezer Road in the Engineer Springs neighborhood.
The driver of the motorcycle suffered major injuries and was flown to Sharp Memorial Hospital.
