Sheriff's Seek Suspects in Spring Valley Recycling Center Armed Robbery

The suspects demanded money and assaulted one of the employees who sustained minor injuries.

Sheriff's deputies from the Lemon Grove  Sheriff's Station are looking for two suspects in an armed robbery, which occurred at a recycling center in Spring Valley Tuesday.

According to police reports, on December 18, at 10:34 A.M., eputies responded to an armed robbery at the recycling center located at 1069 Elkelton Blvd., in Spring Valley. Two black males, wearing dark clothing, approached the employees, pointed their guns at them and ordered them lay on the office floor.

The suspects demanded money and assaulted one of the employees who sustained minor injuries. The suspects were last seen running across the street into an apartment complex.

Deputies searched the area and checked several units in the apartment complex but were unable to locate the suspects. The loss was an unknown amount of cash and two wallets stolen from the employees.
